About me
Christopher Cronin is Associate University Librarian for Collections at Columbia University. He has previously held positions at the University of Chicago and the University of Colorado at Boulder. Chris has held leadership positions in several professional organizations, including OCLC Global Council, the American Library Association, the Association of Library Collections & Technical Services, the Program for Cooperative Cataloging, Ivy Plus, and the Big Ten Academic Alliance. Chris holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Information Studies from the University of Toronto. He has presented and published widely on technical services, cataloging and metadata services, and has consulted in these areas both nationally and internationally.
